New sponsors for Team Prost: First of all, Total (fuels and lubricants) will be a new sponsor, as it is a partner of Peugeot, who will deliver the engines in 1998, as you all know...

Two other new sponsors of Team Prost are Agfa and Pepsi. All the big sponsors of 1997 (Gauloises, Canal+, Bic and Alcatel) stay with Team Prost for next season.

At the same time, it seems that Stéphane Sarrazin will become test driver for Team Prost. He was 2^nd in the French F3-Championship last year and it would be quite a surprise, as it was expected, that Alain would choose the French F3000 driver Soheil Ayari.
